If you see cold-stunned, stranded, stunned or dead sea turtles, call the EI Police non-emergency number

For stranded mammals (whales, dolphins, seals, manatees, etc.) call the Mammal Stranding Hotline, call:

For bird rescue by the Shore Bird Response Team (SRT), call:

(Note: SRT is not a part of EI Sea Turtle Patrol, but we work closely together.)

Cold-stunned Turtles:

As temperatures drop, sea turtles are at risk of cold stunning. Please always call in sea turtles on the beach, even deceased turtles to ensue proper care.

Cold-stunning is a condition in which sea turtles become very weak and inactive from exposure to cold temperatures. Details
