Tape

Tape ensures that we mark off the boundary of the nest and the trench that the hatchlings travel to get to the ocean.

Gloves

Gloves protect the turtles from human diseases and humans from turtle diseases.

Stakes and Boards

Stakes are used to mark off the boundary of the nest and trench. The boards are used to encircle the nest and help the turtles head toward the ocean.

Buckets

We use buckets to transport any turtles who need rehabilitation to the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knolls Shores.
